Hey guys here is a quick and easy style for your hair!

I plaited my hair yesterday and it looked nice but the trouble with that style for me is the next day! My hair is quite soft so when I put a brush through the plaited hair it goes really frizzy!

This is what I did with my hair today with only four flower clips from Claire’s Accessories:

It was really easy to do!

  • Put a side parting into your hair
  • Separate your hair at the back into two sections
  • Roll your hair into a loose bun around a finger – one section at a time
  • Pin your hair secure with a flower clip – one for each bun
  • Place the other two clips further ‘up’ your hair – you can clip any stray bits of hair back
  • Use bobby pins to further secure your hair if needed
  • Spray with hair spray!
  • If you want to vary the look you can further divide your hair into more sections or pull the buns into different positions on your head!
  • You can also ‘pull’ at the buns to make them a bit looser
  • It’s not meant to look perfect though – you want to look like a hippy summer chick by the end!

Here’s some more photos and a link to Claire’s website, I have a pack of the pink and white flowers!

These polishes are very new on the market, this was the only colour combination at my Boots store in the UK.

It’s a neat idea and you could play a lot with different colour combinations.

I’d like to see a silver or a lighter colour in the range next!

Did work really well though!  Top tips – don’t apply a lot of the ‘crackle’ polish, it needs space to achieve the effect!

V Festival 2011 is now over and we saw a veritable amount of fashion over the two days.  We saw Rihanna, Jessie J, Pixie Lott and Ellie Goulding all performing and strutting their stuff on stage!

What can we take away from this?  Fringing and hot pants!!  Maybe not for the faint hearted this look!

If you aren’t brave enough to go short short then get some nice tailored longer shorts or 3/4 length trousers or stay short but combine it with tights (fishnets preferably) to cover up your legs a little.

As for fringing – well I’m not sold on the concept yet but Topshop and ASOS are definitely getting behind this trend and are introducing lines with fringing details.

So if you are going to an outdoor festival this year be flamboyant and embrace that inner pop star!

Not my favourite outfit Kate has ever worn but it is a stylish and slightly older take on the nautical style:

I’m really into stars and space themes in clothing/fashion so I’m really happy that D&G star dresses are becoming really popular in celebrity culture.  Anne Hathaway is currently modelling one on the front of Marie Claire UK.

My favourite celebrity to rock this D&G look has to be Britney Spears.

Then last night at the Teen Choice Awards I noticed Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas rocking the look in yellow:

So what can you do to get this look?  Well you could go straight to the source if you have about £700 to spend? On D&G’s official website there are a few variations of the dress left to buy (http://store.dolcegabbana.com/dolce_gabbana/search/Dresses/woman/season/main/tskay/0E43D1BD/c/cat_1127/gender/D) the one below was my favourite.

But what about the high-street what can they offer for a more realistic budget?

ASOS has a very similar look available for £45.00 on their website.

New Look also has a Pink One-shoulder look available on their website for £23.

So you can get into stars for less and re-create that lovely D&G look!

First of all I would get a tan! Treat yourself and go for a hand-applied fake tan or get a spray tan, they work and they will last for about a week.

Go for bright sparkly accessories – look at Blake’s they look like lovely silver crystal inspired pieces.

Leopard print shoes!  Not everyone’s cup of tea but they do take a back seat to the dress for this look.

Brighten your teeth! If it’s a special occasion then get them cleaned up or use a treatment from a pharmacy to instantly lift them!

Look for belted dresses!

Here are some similar high street looks for you to try!
